N., July, 24, 2017, Amazon, (5.0 out of 5 stars) : “MUST READ! Indispensable. Incredibly fascinating. Well-researched. Tons of citations. Thanks for writing this. This deserves to be a manifesto for the modern world and reclaiming proper thoughts and actions for a noble society. This belongs on any spiritualist or philosopher’s book shelf.
I feel like this entire book is magic because of how precise it is in exactly what I needed as an Indo-European seeking spiritual revival in his fellow man. I have quoted this book dozens of times. So much of this wisdom is lost because Iranian religion is not studied really at all by westerners, and yet it has so much to offer. Instead we get Platonists (neo-Ashavans 😉) continuing the tradition in many ways and my Platonist friends find few disagreements when we discuss things.
The author breaks down the timeline of the spiritual tradition of Zarathustra, going over modern application and the absolute prescience of his work even in his own time. He predicted everything that came to pass. Dryden gives us many timeless truths through each section. Then it moves on to comparative religion and history as seen through the eyes of an Ashavan. Only in the last part of this tome does Dryden give us a directive and testimony, and it does not disappoint.
I have nothing but heartfelt appreciation for this work and I pray more people find it like I did. (I have already harassed my friends and some bought it😊)”
AC., Amazon, March 30, 2018, (5.0 out of 5 stars): “This is a well-researched alternate historical epic. For those interested in philosophy, history, and anthropology, this is a rare treat. The concepts challenge existing religious dogma and cause the reader to actually THINK.”
